Hi

Hi, Thanks for dropping by.

My name is Eileen but to friends in the card making world I'm known as 'ikki'. (which is pronounced I-KEY) From where or how this came about I'm not sure - it just got shorten from my original craft name of Ikemo by various friends along my crafting way! I started crafting whilst recouperating from an accident, and from my first attempts with peeloffs and paint - I was hooked! Now my passion is my BUG! and now BEADING!

In the Cupboard you will find ideas, news, tips and techniques to help you get more from this fab little machine. So come in - join the fun and Cuttle with me!

A surprise gift!

Hi, today is a great day for crafting it's grey, wet and cold, with a strong wind thrown in for good measure!  I wonder what you'll be making - perhaps something to put in my FFG?

I have just made some embossed cards for Jo (Twiglet) and to my surprise I received this by return of post.....
Jo and her sister (Wipso), who are both very talented crafters, will be known to many from WOYWW and they now have a blog shop selling their crafting artwork called Sisters Crafty Creations.  Jo uses a card to display her brooches, and very pretty they are!    If you would like to see more of their craftwork, you'll find them here, and I know they would be really pleased to have you visit.

Many thanks for the gift Jo, much appreciated.

What a lovely gift - hand crafted brooches seem to be the in thing at the moment and I've made a few on and off. Never thought of displaying them on an embossed card though - what am I like???

Thanks for those kind words - I am just finiching off a few more brooches and the cards that you made will set them off perfectly. You brilliant card makers have such clever "tools" don't you. Thanks again - Jo.

What a lovely surprise for you Eileen - don't you find crafty people just the best?

Not sure if you got my email the other day to thank you for the scoreboard which arrived safely and asking about the book that goes with it and also your printing on cards? Wasn't sure if it had gone into your spam folder???

What a lovely brooch by Jo - but I expect nothing else... I particularly like this one and its colourways.

Really kind of you to do some embossing for them to showcase their lovely creations.
