Hi

Hi, Thanks for dropping by.

My name is Eileen but to friends in the card making world I'm known as 'ikki'. (which is pronounced I-KEY) From where or how this came about I'm not sure - it just got shorten from my original craft name of Ikemo by various friends along my crafting way! I started crafting whilst recouperating from an accident, and from my first attempts with peeloffs and paint - I was hooked! Now my passion is my BUG! and now BEADING!

In the Cupboard you will find ideas, news, tips and techniques to help you get more from this fab little machine. So come in - join the fun and Cuttle with me!

Thoughts on Tuesday

Behold the turtle. He only makes progress when he sticks his neck out.

When I read this quote it made me smile,  how true!  I may not be a turtle, but I do have an habit of sticking my neck out, but am I making progress?   I think so!!??!  Failure may be round the corner, (or in  the bin) but is it failure, or is it learning?  Some learn by reading, some by watching, some like me by doing - which are you?

Whatever cap fits, remember the turtle.  If you never do, you will never move on. Our crafting  habits (and stash) give us opportunities to move on and bloging gives us the means to find our next step  forward.  So if you are feeling bored, or have lost your  mojo - go visit a few blogs or open the Cupboard, have a rumage see what you have lurking, just patiently waiting for you.

Aren't we lucky to be crafters!  For me the postie has just arrived with my replacement C plate and ????? - what a fab start to the day, something new to try!  Check out my desk tomorrow - WOYWW day.

Hope you also have a creative day,

I like that quote a lot, it is very true to life. And it certainly applies to crafting too! :)
