Hi

Hi, Thanks for dropping by.

My name is Eileen but to friends in the card making world I'm known as 'ikki'. (which is pronounced I-KEY) From where or how this came about I'm not sure - it just got shorten from my original craft name of Ikemo by various friends along my crafting way! I started crafting whilst recouperating from an accident, and from my first attempts with peeloffs and paint - I was hooked! Now my passion is my BUG! and now BEADING!

In the Cupboard you will find ideas, news, tips and techniques to help you get more from this fab little machine. So come in - join the fun and Cuttle with me!

Awards galore

This award was given to me by Libby from Australia. I have been overwhelmed by the thousands of crafters who visit my blog and thank you all, especially Libby for supporting and encouraging me with my Cuttlebug project.

From Chrissie I received this award. It was a pleasure to be of help.
Thanks Chrissie, so good to have friends like you.

A Kreativ Blogger award from Berlynda. Thank you Berlynda, I really appreciate your comments on my blog and for honouring me with this award.

A jewel of an award from my blogging friend Chrissie. It's a very good feeling to have your work thought of in this way.

from Sheena an award for a lovely blog - so rewarding!

and from Lisa an Inspiration Award - I'm overwheled! I can only say how

thrilled I am that this blog is giving an insight into the works of the Cuttlebug. I need to tell you a secret about me - I was once a Weight

Watcher leader - and also wrote my own slimming programme based on Why....of course, it was called Why Weight! Could do with blowing the dust off and reading it again!

and this one from Julie - and I do love all my blogging friends.

As you will see I have been so honoured by so many friends and fellow crafters that I'm struggling to fulfill the committments of the awards and at the same time continue with my cuttling tutorials. I hope you will all forgive me for not passing these lovely awards today, but I do want to say to you all that I do appreciated receiving them and feel very touched by so much support. Thank you all so much.

Now to finish off Monday's tutorial which I'm really enjoying - I have some new goodies and hope you'll have time to drop by tomorrow.

Spellbinders Nestabilitie Squares

In this week's tutorial I have used my new Square Nesties to make a triangle card. I have Jane and Andrea of Hollow Gate Farm Craft Class to thank for showing me the idea, I have just tweaked it to fit the Nesties.

Materials:
A4 cardstock
2 patterned papers
The largest square in the set and the next down

Cut three of the largest squares and score corner to corner

For the patterned paper shapes. Use the smaller square just as a template, cut and tape into position on 2 of the squares

Then fasten together

Tape the back of the third square

and position as shown here on the back of the card

The front of the card will now look like this

Cut a slit on the back panel

To complete my card I decorated the inside

and then the front

My finished card . The image is a Sugar Nellie Stamp. The card folds flat and goes in a 5" square envelope.

I was really pleased with how this card turned out.
I hope I have managed not to complicate the instructions and that you will like your card too.
