Hi

Hi, Thanks for dropping by.

My name is Eileen but to friends in the card making world I'm known as 'ikki'. (which is pronounced I-KEY) From where or how this came about I'm not sure - it just got shorten from my original craft name of Ikemo by various friends along my crafting way! I started crafting whilst recouperating from an accident, and from my first attempts with peeloffs and paint - I was hooked! Now my passion is my BUG! and now BEADING!

In the Cupboard you will find ideas, news, tips and techniques to help you get more from this fab little machine. So come in - join the fun and Cuttle with me!

Tuesday Thoughts - How do you make the same stamp from Elusive Images look different?

I have praised before stamps from Elusive Images I love them!  A lot!! but how do you make silhouette stamps look different?  After all if you want to get good value from your buy, you need to do this!

My first card: Using a stamp from the Eastern Grasses plate coloured with DI's and then embossed once to give a pitted glossy finish.

When mounted on white hammer card with a wire and bead curl and embossed sentiment.....
I have a plain, simple style, but classic card - always a favour of mine!    BUT, as you know I always post cards in the Cupboard that have an embossed or die cutting feature so to put this right......

my second card.    I could only achieve a little bit of cuttling here - one of the corners from the Vintage CB die set.  But, what a dramatic statement that little die cut makes!

then with DP from HOTP, cream leather effect card and different coloured inks.
Quite a different look from the same stamp.

I think my Tuesday thoughts turned out okay thanks to these beautiful stamps and I still have 7 more stamps on the plate to go at! Thanks Glenda I think I made a very good buy, and no postage and sale prices as well until the end of May!  Think you will be busy!!

Thanks for posting this - two beautiful cards from a very versatile stamp plate. Can't wait to see what you do with the other stamps on the plate.

I've just bought this set too. Too good to miss in the sale. Your cards are both absolutely beautiful, but I confess to liking the first one best. I love its simple elegance.
