Hi

Hi, Thanks for dropping by.

My name is Eileen but to friends in the card making world I'm known as 'ikki'. (which is pronounced I-KEY) From where or how this came about I'm not sure - it just got shorten from my original craft name of Ikemo by various friends along my crafting way! I started crafting whilst recouperating from an accident, and from my first attempts with peeloffs and paint - I was hooked! Now my passion is my BUG! and now BEADING!

In the Cupboard you will find ideas, news, tips and techniques to help you get more from this fab little machine. So come in - join the fun and Cuttle with me!

Should I or not?

I have a dilemma! Should I continue with this blog, or not? The fact that I have had over 65,000 visitors in 6 1/2 months tells me that crafters do visit the Cupboard, but do they make just one visit, or frequently return - I don't know! Do they find the tutorials interesting - well yes a few do - they have told me, but for the vast majority!?!??! I don't know! Can I continue? Well, yes I could, but perhaps with changes. However, should I continue is another question? What do you think? What would you like to see happen? Can you help me decide? As I said before "I have a dilemma!"

Hi there, I am new to your blog but I think you should continue, with stats like that I think you would be insane to stop, so a few come on once but that fact they come at all is a great felling... no... well thats my opinion, and I thouraly enjoyed your blog (Even if my spelling is rubbish)

I always read your blog even if I only occassionally comment - I understand that it is a big commitment to stick to updating a blog. I think you'll find that you are more appreciated than you think! But if you feel you are unable to continue then it is understandable - but you'd be missed!

Please carry on, I would miss your updates. you are so very talented. I learn so very much from you. I do understand if you are to busy to keep up with a blob, but if you think you are not appreciated, please do not think that. You are very appreciated by me.

I just found your blog yesterday and added it to my Reader. I am looking forward to seeing what you share. From what I've seen so far you are very generous!

Would love to see it continue, but in the end, if it's not fun for you, that's a big consideration. Good luck with your decision.

I don't know what your dilemas are, and I don't want to be selfish, but I sure hope you stay. I am a frequent visitor and love the tips, tutorials and inspiration you provide, however, if your dilemas concern this over a situation concerning your family or well being then by all means you and your family must come first. If you do continue, I will still be a loyal follower, if you don't, I will still by a loyal admirer. All the best,

Hi just found your website from Make a lasting impression and I have added you to my favourites, I have just ordered another set of nesties and found your blog really interesting and easy to follow, I hope you are able to continue. (I have a bigshot but it works brilliantly with my nesties). Your blog is full of inspiration for things I would never have thought of myself!!! Thank you, Steph

Please do carry on with the blog... I don't usually post comments as I read so many lovely blogs but I keep coming back to this one as I love my Bug and am slowly building up my dies and embossing folders :)
I'm hoping to use some of your tutorials, which are absolutely fantastic, when I have had the re-modernisations finished on my home and I actually have space to Scrap and make cards whilst being able to leave my beloved Bug out in his own area and not tucked away on a shelf out of sight due to the lack of space I have at the moment!
I think the amount of visitors you have to your site says how much your blog is loved... Unfortunately in this modern day and age many people just don't have time to sit and comment on all the blogs they read... but just know that your advice and tutorials are greatly appreciated... especially by me :) Erika xxx

I think you have a wonderful blog here with lots of terrific ideas. I am thinking that it is a matter of do you still enjoy sharing your activities with the world? ..... they obviously love seeing them with so many visits. I agree it is nice seeing a comment from time to time. Another question is do you have the time?....life changes.

I would hate to see you leave us. But the real question is what makes you happy. Do that first and everything else will fall into place. I have learned so many things from your post. like making a mask so you don't see the lines when you use your cuttlebug. I'm sorry I haven't posted more life sometimes gets in the way but you are appreciated kim

Hello ikki, it would be a shame if you gave up, your the reason I finally bought some nesties, as your blog was the only one where the instructions were in a form I could understand ( ie. pics ), had it not been for your blog my bug would proberbly have been tossed in the bin by now.. So please don't leave us , Has as already been said i know I don't leave many comments ,but I do look forward to your weekly Thursday blog...hugs Kath...

Hope you decide to carry on. I have you in my 'favourites' and look in often. Your tips are brilliant and the tutorials are written in a way that is easy to follow. I have made a card using your MFP idea and would never have thought of this myself. You are the 'Cuttlebug Queen' as far as I am concerned and I would certainly miss your fabulous work and ideas.
