Hi

Hi, Thanks for dropping by.

My name is Eileen but to friends in the card making world I'm known as 'ikki'. (which is pronounced I-KEY) From where or how this came about I'm not sure - it just got shorten from my original craft name of Ikemo by various friends along my crafting way! I started crafting whilst recouperating from an accident, and from my first attempts with peeloffs and paint - I was hooked! Now my passion is my BUG! and now BEADING!

In the Cupboard you will find ideas, news, tips and techniques to help you get more from this fab little machine. So come in - join the fun and Cuttle with me!

WOYDW

I have a blogging mate, Chrissie who joins in with What's on your desk Wednesday. So being the nosey type - I had a look. Oh boy, oh boy,it did make me smile. There are other's out there just like me!!

However, today I'm showing you my good side - this is my tidy space after my clear out - I can assure you that this is not normal - quite often you can't even see the floor!

Within minutes the postie arrived...
After all my talk about the bin...in went ALL the packing...again not normal - I usually manage to salvage something...is something wrong with me?

and this is what I ended up with

Distress Inks - a new passion!
Had to have a go....
and this is my grunge type card...the image is a digital from Chris Dark - an absolutely fantastic artist! Not much cuttling here, just a token corner from the Vintage Corner Dies

Oh, drat...I forgot to take an after piccy of my desk...Perhaps next week!?!?!

Oh that is impressively neat and tidy Ikki, really! I imagined you would have heaps of shelves covered in dies and folders..where are they all living? And is that two mini statues of the peeing boy I see on the shelf? My neighbour has a near lifesize in his pond!

This is fab, I really enjoyed my little nosey... and how wonderful to have all those distress inks. It seems you know how to use them really well too. Fabulous card! I love Chris's images too!
Did you put a link on Julia's WOYWW blog?

My word, Julie, nothing wrong with your eyes! Yes you saw right - two brass statues of peeing boy - every old and I don't know what to do with them - a bit heavy for an embellishment don't you think? My folders and dies are neatly (at the moment) stored in the drawers, along with chalks, pens, punches, etc., I also have a bookcase which only looks tidy because of the doors! and then I have boxes and a desk in the other end of the room. It keeps me fit moving from one to the other! When I'm feeling tired, I use anything to put things on - coffee table, settee arms and seats, and of course the floor. There's no room for dancing in my craft room! Thanks for visiting, your comments made me smile. ikki

Great blog! I just got a cbug and will bookmark this for future use. Love all the inks, my favourite is Antique Linen, it gets sponged around the edges of just about every thing I make!
