Hi

Hi, Thanks for dropping by.

My name is Eileen but to friends in the card making world I'm known as 'ikki'. (which is pronounced I-KEY) From where or how this came about I'm not sure - it just got shorten from my original craft name of Ikemo by various friends along my crafting way! I started crafting whilst recouperating from an accident, and from my first attempts with peeloffs and paint - I was hooked! Now my passion is my BUG! and now BEADING!

In the Cupboard you will find ideas, news, tips and techniques to help you get more from this fab little machine. So come in - join the fun and Cuttle with me!

WOYWW

What's on my desk on this sunny Wednesday morning....well a bit of a disaster!

After watching Sheena produce some very interesting backgrounds for bookmarks, I thought "I'll have a go at this!"

Oh, dear.....not so good.....perhaps with a bit of tweaking?....not sure....might have to be the bin!  If I can make it look something like you'll see it in a future post - but don't hold your breath!

A little more success here with just a stamping and distress ink.

I think I must be a mind reader, because I'd been tagging it all week, this is another that I finished.  For anyone interested, the Tag challenge has returned.

Lastly, a christmas card bearing a lovely photo of my daughter and her girls.  It's such a good photo that I'm trying to think of a way to use it, circle nesties come to mind?!?!!??

Have a good day, if you're not a WOYWW'er why not join us - you will find the link on my sidebar.

Oh no, please don't bin it, just stamp over it, it'll be great. Love those other tags and bookmarks too. Love CC from your family, definitely reuse.

I have a q for you... Can I emboss Spellbinders in my bug without buying the tan spellbinders mat? Can I use a mouse pad perhaps??

Your bookmark might not have turned out like you planned but i beat you had a great time playing with all those inks and getting inky fingers while making it :) I love the butterfly image, very nice!!!!
Gracie shifts over to sit ont he arm of the chair so she can be next to me, Diggory will often balance on the other arm as well :)

Some gorgeous stamps there Ikki, love the diamond one, the butterfly and the scroll in the corner. Love the 2 pieces of work in the 3rd photo. With the other one it may be ok if you stamp over it all, leaving very little card showing. How about running it under the tap, that's what I do sometimes with success.
