Hi

Hi, Thanks for dropping by.

My name is Eileen but to friends in the card making world I'm known as 'ikki'. (which is pronounced I-KEY) From where or how this came about I'm not sure - it just got shorten from my original craft name of Ikemo by various friends along my crafting way! I started crafting whilst recouperating from an accident, and from my first attempts with peeloffs and paint - I was hooked! Now my passion is my BUG! and now BEADING!

In the Cupboard you will find ideas, news, tips and techniques to help you get more from this fab little machine. So come in - join the fun and Cuttle with me!

Friday - a few answers

Good morning, is Spring really here? It's a beautiful morning here in North Staffordshire - bright, sunny and WARM! Hip, hip, hooray!  This is what we want and need to boost our crafting spirits!

Last week I  made this card which many of you liked - it was my pre Spring card .  I've had a number of queries about the embossing folder I used and where you can get it. If you click on the shop link on my sidebar and then go to embossing folders you will find details of the Crafts-too-you folders that are available. I really like these folders, they are slightly bigger than the Provocraft CB folders and don't seem to crease as much, I think this is because the pattern is not as deeply embossed. Saying that, if you look at this card you will see the embossing is lovely.

A question also about the stamp:  This is one of four stamps in a set called "Viva La Flora Collection" from darkroom door.    A bit expensive, but beautifully packed in their own tin box!
Sorry I have not been able to reply direct to some folks, but you left no contact details.

Ikki - what a lovely card and love the colours you have used. North Derbyshire (and South Yorkshire where I've just been) has been equally lovely and bright today - but sadly we now have a bit of rain. Never mind!

Thank you so much for this wonderfully instructive blog. I have been struggling to define my style, and have come to the conclusion that I love my bug most of all. I too am from North Staffordshire, but now live in Spain, so I am glad to hear you have had some sun. Again many thanks

Hi Jackie, nice to see you are putting your CB to good use. Very nice wedding stationary. Thanks for visiting my Cupboard, I appreciate your support and hope you will find the time the pop back. More importantly I'm so pleased that you found the Cupboard interesting and informative - my aim to to show the world what a brill little machine it is, and any help you can give is appreciated by way of pointing cuttlers my way. Thanks again, I'm sure you are having even better weather then in England. Enjoy. ikki

Thanks so much for your interesting posts. I have tried the link for the folders, but it is just taking me back to my blogger. I have tried googling but not found them - I guess when I do, they wont be available in NZ, just my luck!!
