I've been busy....
It's gone! (but the settee still remains a shelf).
It's gone to here - at last!
In this little storage area I have four boxes. Here I keep my embossing tools, powders, etc., My lightbox - little used these days! Large envelopes and packing stuffs, and in one box all the cards that I cannot bear to throw away and which when I discover them again give me pleasure thinking of my family and friends. The top of the boxes is a useful and handy place to keep a folder. The folder houses peeloffs, stickers, and sentiments which does get in a mess if I'm too lazy to put things away, but is also quite easy to sort out!
As for my desk - this is how I found it this morning. Quite tidy - it doesn't look like much is going on! On the left are some decoupage embellishments drying. I recently lashed out on some Pinflair glue so I thought it was time to open the package. I still think this is expensive, but it's quick and easy to use and you don't have the mess of little bits of paper everywhere. In the middle is my small guillotine, I've been cutting up thin strips of printed sentiments, and on the right is a pile of stuff that I'm working on, but not getting anywhere with!! Funny how some days you can't make decisions and then on others things are just right from the start.
Now it's back to the bedroom....the new headboard has just this minute arrived! Hope it looks as good as it did in the shop!! Have a happy day whatever you are doing...see you soon.

Glad to see progress Icki, hope the new furniture works out ok. I'm off to buy my first nesties this week and will be looking at your size guide to decide which ones to get. Love the cards you've made recently with the bug.

Wow Eileen - you have been really busy with your decorating - nice to see it off the sofa at last (wouldn't want to sit on it if I came over) tee hee!!!
Hooray for pinflair glue - I'm a convert but only use it for the jobs where nothing else will suffice... it's brill cos it'll stick anything to anything... can't beat it!!! You're right about it being a bit dear but at the moment they've got the market cornered. Not for long I should hope!!!
let us know if the headboard looks as good as you expected!!!

way too tidy for me.. mind you I can talk as mine is tidy too for once! lol
Very neat Ikki! I have just totally re-done my Craft room with storage units and everything is now in the right place and I got rid of a whole lot of little scraps of cardstock & other things that I don't use - all inspired by you - and you know, I feel so much more creative. It's like a breath of fresh air. I still make a mess, but it's far easier to tidy up when everything has it's rightful place to be put in. Thanks Ikki!
I just started a Blog yesterday - hope you have a moment to drop by sometime: http://www.instead-of-ironing.blogspot.com/
