Hi

Hi, Thanks for dropping by.

My name is Eileen but to friends in the card making world I'm known as 'ikki'. (which is pronounced I-KEY) From where or how this came about I'm not sure - it just got shorten from my original craft name of Ikemo by various friends along my crafting way! I started crafting whilst recouperating from an accident, and from my first attempts with peeloffs and paint - I was hooked! Now my passion is my BUG! and now BEADING!

In the Cupboard you will find ideas, news, tips and techniques to help you get more from this fab little machine. So come in - join the fun and Cuttle with me!

WOYWW

Hi there friends at WOYWW - are you looking forward to a busy day blogging?  I'm posting piccies, but then I have to go out - so see you later.

Last night I sat on the sofa and sorted out my ribbon boxes.

When done I just dumped them on my little tardis desk to show you one of my secret stores.

I colour code them and store in self seal bags, which would work if I always replaced the left over bits and sealed the bag! Hence the need to sort, again!!

Then with the lids on the boxes they just sit by the side of the tardis - handy but out of sight.  Here you can also see my tray and small glass cutting mat which I use when sofa crafting.

I'm going to keep my WOYWW post small and concise in future - just a quick look and read to keep in touch, gain friends and ideas, or I feel that we'll  lose the concept of  this great idea of Julia's!   I want to visit as many desks as possible and leave comments which I'm sure you do too, but if we stray away from a sight of our Wednesday morning desks we will have lost it!

Hi! That's a good idea about the same color ribbons being in one bag. It's always so hard to organize ribbon but I think you've got a solution! Thanks for sharing! Patsy from

Colour coding is good, but as you say putting all the bits back? for now I'm sticking to dumping them in the plastic tub. I do have a long-term plan but it's getting the bits I want that's the problem.

Love the snoop Ikki. I quite agree with your comments. If we make our post too long, it deprives us of bloggers comments.*She says with lots of pics on her blog*. I will make the effort for next week. Love the storage ideas. TFS. ~Glen~

Lots of you seem to be organising your ribbons which makes me feel like I really should get onto mine. Colour co-ordinated into bags is a good idea as long as I remember to put them back LOL. Tracy Evans x

Watching TV is the perfect time to sort through ribbons! I keep mine sorted in plastic tubs by color & then the bits & pieces I keep in a glass jar on my craft table & then sort when it gets full.

Nice boxes, I tend to forget what's in boxes. I did colour code my ribbons in on bag, but, alas it didn't work for me, but it's working so far, in jars! have a good day! sorry I'm late mr blogger wasn't letting me comment.
