Hi

Hi, Thanks for dropping by.

My name is Eileen but to friends in the card making world I'm known as 'ikki'. (which is pronounced I-KEY) From where or how this came about I'm not sure - it just got shorten from my original craft name of Ikemo by various friends along my crafting way! I started crafting whilst recouperating from an accident, and from my first attempts with peeloffs and paint - I was hooked! Now my passion is my BUG! and now BEADING!

In the Cupboard you will find ideas, news, tips and techniques to help you get more from this fab little machine. So come in - join the fun and Cuttle with me!

Cuttlebug Tutorial - Christmas No.3

Today's Cuttlebug Christmas is not actually a card. It's a tag! Why not make your presents look very special?

How have I done this?

For the embellishment: I used the bell from the Wedding set of 4 embossing folders.
After embossing a square of card, the image was heat embossed with silver powder, this was then cut with the postage stamp die (remember the one that came free with your machine!) When mounted on silver mirror card you have an interesting edge.

The Tag: Choose a shape - emboss with Chrissie pattern - I used the snowflake design. The edge embossing was done by first adding a random thick layer of prit stick glue and embossing powder, which I then heated. Another interesting edge! And, to finish a bow.

Hope you like No.3 - tomorrow I'll show you how I used this to make No.4!

Super idea Ikki - I have the little bell folder from the wedding set, but wouldn't have thought of using it as a Christmas bell (never have been very good at "thinking outside the box"). Brilliant!

This is really lovely. I love using the CB snowflake embossing folder - so useful at this time of year. Linda
