I'm finding my Grand Nestie Squares really useful for matting and layering - they are saving me messing about trying to get things square! I know some folks are good at this, but me....not so!
I always feel chuffed when I manage to use something in the drawer - it makes buying the item seem worthwhile. This is what I got out to cut the sentiment - it's called Birthday Wishes by Provocraft and includes a candle embossing folder and the word die. To achieve the two tone effect I cut two different colours, then because I'd placed DST on the back of my card before cutting, mixing the colours was easy.

Great card I bet she loves it. Especially the dog. Hugs x chrisB
Hi Ikki. Lovely card. I'm sure Caitlin will love her card. I like the glitter on the frill of the dress. I'm a big fan of Mo Manning. The sentiment looks very effective. Thank you for commenting on my blog.
Take care

Hi Ikki,
A great image for an excited little girl. I love the word die too. Kate x
That is the BEST image! I, too, have a granddaughter who just turned 8 and she would have loved this. It's really a terrific card.
I'm sure Caitlin will love that card - the image is really great as you say. That wording die looks really useful too and I like the way you've used it.
Fantastic card Ikki, I'll bet she will love it :o)
