Hi

Hi, Thanks for dropping by.

My name is Eileen but to friends in the card making world I'm known as 'ikki'. (which is pronounced I-KEY) From where or how this came about I'm not sure - it just got shorten from my original craft name of Ikemo by various friends along my crafting way! I started crafting whilst recouperating from an accident, and from my first attempts with peeloffs and paint - I was hooked! Now my passion is my BUG! and now BEADING!

In the Cupboard you will find ideas, news, tips and techniques to help you get more from this fab little machine. So come in - join the fun and Cuttle with me!

Less is More and St Lukes Hospice Challenge

Another interesting challenge from LIM - A touch of RED......

The embossed lines were done with my Eazi Score board.

The dies are Nesties - I have both the large and small sets and although it lovely to have lots of shaped dies, it is so useful to have a full set of basic shapes for matting and layering.  I know you can make faux mats and if you need info on this check out the link on my sidebar called "mock layering" and also this link.

The stamp is from a set called Meadow Breeze by Inkylicious - since our hostesses at LIM also purchased these stamps you will no doubt be seeing more of them. I have discovered that instead of the ink, blot, plot to get the shadow I can stamp with a special formula clear black ink pad from Stampology and although it's black it stamps grey.   I rather pleased about this because I have two of these pads which I bought in America about 8 years ago thinking they were black and cheap and would be a good buy and have never used.  Wonder what else I have stashed away????

I'm doubling up this entry and sending my card to the
Charity Card Monthly Challenge for St.Lukes Hospice.  "Say it with flowers" is the theme and I'm pleased to be able to support such a worthy cause.

ikki

PS:
I forgot to add the sentiment stamp is from Hobby Art No.GR1831BB
