What a day - rain, rain, and more rain - a good day for crafting !!!!
I've been scrapping again in my corner with my back to the window so I can't see the storm and can think of warmth and fun! This page is a reminder of the next stage of our USA Music Tour .....
Here we are in New Orleans - what a place ......we had such a good time on the Natchez river boat sailing down the Mississippi listening to a band belting out JAZZ tunes, then there was Bourbon Street .... so many bars playing all kinds of music ..... and street artists...... and ladies on balconies (!).... I still have the beads that one threw down to Dave in the hope of catching his attention (!) There was a very sombre side to NO in that the city suffered such devasation from Hurrican Katrina and from watching the Trevor McDonald's documentary "The Mighty Mississippi" it would seem that many problems still exist for residents. So cheers New Orleans - thanks for the memories and I really hope your city soon recovers.
Stay warm and safe and thanks for dropping by.

What a wonderful warm feeling to this page to remind you of the trip. How great to share the jazz in such a place. Might just put some traditional NO music on to help the day along - Raining steadily here too - horrible.
A beautiful page that perfectly captures the ambience of New Orleans.
Hi Ikki - well I've been turning my back to the window all day but the drumming sound of the rain doesn't diminish.......in fact the South West is the only part of the country to be put on orange alert......... so glad my craft room is on the first floor! lol. Your page is gorgeous as is the music I'm sure - hope the weather takes a turn for the better.
