Hi

Hi, Thanks for dropping by.

My name is Eileen but to friends in the card making world I'm known as 'ikki'. (which is pronounced I-KEY) From where or how this came about I'm not sure - it just got shorten from my original craft name of Ikemo by various friends along my crafting way! I started crafting whilst recouperating from an accident, and from my first attempts with peeloffs and paint - I was hooked! Now my passion is my BUG! and now BEADING!

In the Cupboard you will find ideas, news, tips and techniques to help you get more from this fab little machine. So come in - join the fun and Cuttle with me!

Cuttlebug and Wizard bits and pieces

I'll just make a card you think - no prob when I had my Bug 18 months ago. Then I would just emboss with a folder I fancied and done! BUT, these days I have collected so much Cuttlebug and Wizard bits and pieces that some times I forget just what I actually have in the drawer - AND, worse NEVER USE!!!

With this card I tried to use as many different elements as I could without going OTT.

I started with Navy Texture cardstock cut to make
a 6" x 6" card. With the Frills button border I emboss both
the front and back spine which gives a embossed inside panel.
Use a scoreboard to edge the border - this also gives a good edge for your paper and finishes off the border.

Difference sized Oval Nesties made the aperture, frame and tag.
Number and Letters - Olivia Alphabet

Just a Fancy Corner die to add to the book looking card
and finished! This would make a good layout for a front of a scrap album. The papers are Boxer by Basic Grey - they are bold, colourful patterns that make ideal male cards.

Making cards for our men folks always make you think what can I use ??? what can I do??? This turned out well and I was pleased that I had used some of those bit and pieces in the drawer! Happy 40th Phil.

Hope you all have a great creative crafting week.

Great card! I'm always stuck for ideas for men, so I'll certainly try something like this. And well done for using all the bits and pieces. I know just what you mean about them!
